Happy pride! I just introduced myself with they/them pronouns on work Slack for the first time.

Now to go hide for a bit. (Many of my coworkers already know that I'm non-binary, but I've never put it out there for the whole company before)

I know it's an invasive, and we've been culling it from the woods since we moved in, but honeysuckle smells amazing on a humid summer morning.

After having a wonderful time at WisCon, I have a massive pile of new books to check out, and a desire to walk way from twitter even more than I already had.

So, hi, Mastodon, How have you been?

Book Notes: I'm starting to listen to A Phoenix First Must Burn: Sixteen Stories of Black Girl Magic, Resistance, and Hope, edited by Patrice Caldwell.

I generally prefer to read short fiction in words on page format, but I couldn't pass up the $2.99 audiobook price and the spectacular contributor list. ( chirpbooks.com/audiobooks/a-ph )

Hello! Thanks for the welcome @roadriverrail I'm looking forward to trying this whole Mastodon thing out again. This time in an instance that more aligns with my personal interests and social preferences.

(My last try, in a large instance, did not go particularly well.)
